Our Story
Founded in 2014 as a social enterprise of The Kennedy Collective, the Maggie Daly Arts Cooperative has a rich history of fostering artistic expression and empowerment for individuals with disabilities.

Meet Johanna—dancer, karaoke star, and proud artist of the Maggie Daly Arts Cooperative (MDAC). Dedicated to personal growth, Johanna’s creative journey has flourished since arriving at MDAC.
"Dancing is like inspiration," she shares, drawing parallels between the movement in dance and the movement of a paintbrush. The arts have served as a powerful platform for Johanna's self-experssion.
At MDAC, Johanna’s artistic expression extends beyond dance to a variety of mediums. Guided by her art therapist Jessica and others, she has embraced everything from watercolor and printmaking to more complex techniques.
This support has encouraged her to explore new creative challenges. “Being at MDAC is my inspiration,” she reflects. “When I first started here, for a lot of years I've been here, I've grown as an artist. It’s always okay to do something new. And it's always okay to challenge yourself."
It’s always okay to do something new. And it's always okay to challenge yourself. You have to grow, keep growing...growing till you get better as an artist.
